Why do we have Fundraisers?

To help keep band fees as low as possible, yet still have the necessary funds to provide for our exceptional band program. It also provides a means to help students shoulder part of the financial responsibility of being in band. Your participation in fundraisers are a very vital part of helping make the Ringgold Middle and High School Band programs a success.

Coke Sale! July Student Accts & General Fund This Sale usually begins late July and ends first of August. Get your purchases in time for Labor Day. Contact a Ringgold Marching band member or email us if you would like to purchase a case of any Coke products, including Dasani water or Powerade. Each case includes 24 20 oz. Coke products. This is a split fundraiser- $4 goes into student accounts and $4 in general fund if we sell more than 500 cases. This is amount will change if our sales do not exceed 500. Important: Collect money when you take the order. Completed order forms and payments must be placed in a sealed envelope, with "Coke Sale" and your child's name on it. Place the envelopes in the designated box in the band room. This is a split fundraiser proceeds go into student accounts ($4) and general fund ($4). Download Order Form to see price list and products.			Lion Shop and Share Year Round Uniform Fund One of the easiest and most convenient ways to raise money for our band. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to the Ringgold Band. Please help by registering your MVP card today. Just click on the Lion Shop & Share Logo and follow the directions. Remember shop Food Lion and scan your MVP card. This does not intefere with MVP discounts and no MVP product has to be purchased to participate. This fund raiser is on going and you may register your MVP card any time.
Pizza Hut Night Every Tuesday Come help raise funds for our Band by participating with Pizza Hut in a Pizza Hut Fundraiser. Every Tuesday, during operating hours at the Ringgold Pizza Hut. Tell the cashier that you are with the band when you pay your bill. If you order Carry-out, let them know you are with the band when you PAY for your order. Our Band will earn a percentage of the sales made during this time.Take out or Dine In. Let all your friends and family know and tell them you will see them at Pizza Hut on Tuesday.			Buy or Renew Your Magazines Click Here Year Round Uniform Fund Support the band by choosing from over 1,000 magazine titles while saving up to 85% off the newsstand prices. Find a magazine you like, renew a current subscription, or give a magazine subscription as a gift to friends and family and 40% will go towards the band. Because it's all done online, there are no catalogs or forms to hand out, no money to collect, and no orders to add up. Just email your family and friends and ask them to renew a magazine subscription or subscribe to a new magazine online. It can't get any easier than this.
Football Concessions August - November Student Accts/General Fund Volunteers are always needed to work in the concession stand for High School and Middle School home football games. Download the volunteer form pdf (link below) and print it out and complete. Turn it in to the Band room or give to Rosanne Diehl (706-937-6260). We ask that a parent or parents volunteer for at least one game. We need 30-35 people per game. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get to know other parents. $5 per parent volunteer goes into your student's account. "You've Been Tiger Pawed" Year Round General Fund To be “tiger-pawed”, means having your yard covered in “tiger paws” with a large paw stating that you have been selected as someone that shows tremendous tiger spirit. This “tiger-pawing” all takes place in the cover of darkness therefore, the “victim” awakes the next morning to find these fun paws everywhere! Imagine, waking to find not only that someone has been in your yard, but they’ve left a gift! These paws will remain for 24-48 hours. It is a great way, not only to show your tiger spirit, but to also announce the birth of a child, celebrate a promotion, a game victory, a birthday, a graduation or making through band camp or summer football. Order On-line			Fruit and Nut Sale October Student Accounts General, Uniform & Scholarship Fund Ask friends, neighbors, relatives, business associates, etc. to help support the band program by buying a wide variety of fresh delicious fruit or nuts for themselves or to give as a gift. They are great for holiday dining, cooking and gift giving needs. This is a split fundraiser- proceeds go to general fund, uniform, scholarship and student accounts.
