Ringgold High School is located in the beautiful mountains of Northwest Georgia in the heart of historical downtown Ringgold in Catoosa County, Georgia. Ringgold is approximately 20 miles from Chattanooga, TN and 100 miles from from Atlanta, Georgia. We are a Region 7AAAA school with approximately 1600 students

The Ringgold Marching Tiger Band has been performing during the half-time shows for Ringgold Tiger Football for over 70 years. The first Ringgold band began with 25 members and has grown every year to now over 200 members. The RHS Tiger Band consistently has superior scores for their marching performances and has received the title of Grand Champion for many of their award winning shows, such as "Southern Road Show", "Homeward Bound", "Gladiators", "The Roman Invasion" "Soldiers and Saints", "Symphonic Sounds", "A Latin Fantasy"and their 2009 performance, “An Evening with Chuck Mangione” . The RHS Marching Tiger Band had the honor of representing the state of Georgia in the 2006 New York City's Veterans Day parade and was awarded "Band of the Year" in the Chattanooga area. 2008 brought a new look to the band with their purchase of new uniforms. They also received an invitation to perform the halftime show at the 2008 NAIA College Football Game in Rome, GA.



The Ringgold Band program has two outstanding concert bands, the Wind Symphony and the Symphonic Band. These two bands consistently receive superior scores for their performances at GMEA Concert Festivals. The concert bands have by special invitation performed at the GMEA National Conference in Savannah Georgia and for the 27th Southeastern Band Conference held at Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. The band members themselves are active participates in the Georgia All-State Bands, District Honor Bands, Solo & Ensemble Festivals and the Governors Honors Program. The concert bands will perform their pre-festival concerts in March and then they will perform their end of the year concerts in May.
